Melissa has a degree in biological science and postgraduate qualifications in nutrition. By day she’s a cancer-fighting scientist. By night she writes about Neandertals, cyborgs, cults, enchanted woods, future science, demons, evil scientists and infectious diseases. She lives in Geelong with her husband and two children. Melissa loves feminist science fiction, apocalypses and anything from a bakery. Her current projects involve the plight of cloned Neandertals in a futuristic world.
